Kroll resolution reporting less then 1024 x 768 Update

 

This document provides steps to resolve the following error when using https://virtuallabs.tcbth.com/

NOTE: The screen size of the remote session of Kroll is remote desktop based, and the size of the screen allocated is determined by the screen size of the window creating the remote session.

This fix must be done on the local machine prior to logging into the Virtual Lab environment

Follow the steps below to optimize your browser window size for better resolution to open Kroll.

  1. Right click open space on your computer screen and click display settings

  1. Set scale to 100% and make sure that the display resolution is set to 1920 X 1080 or the highest resolution available.

  2. Open Google Chrome or Edge and go to https://virtuallabs.tcbth.com/ and click the three dots to the far right of the browser bar. The dots are horizontal in Edge and vertical in Chrome.

    In the Zoom section select full screen option which is the icon to the right of the plus button.

  1. At this point your browser will be in full screen mode and you will see the following message.

  1. Sign in with your student or staff email password and click Continue

  2. Launch Kroll Dispensary application


    NOTE: If you see the following Fill Form FDB message, then click OK

  3. Sign in to Kroll with credentials assigned by your instructor
    NOTE: If you don’t remember your password or your account is locked, please contact your instructor

NOTE: If you get the following windows instead of the above sign-in then click Session > Session 1. This will restart the Kroll application.

 

If you are still receiving the resolution error, then follow the steps below.

  1. Sign out of the remote session by clicking on the Windows icon on the bottom left > Click on your name > Sign out

  2. Make sure your browser is in full screen then click Reconnect and log in again
