MFA setup without a QR code

Step 1: Launch the Microsoft authenticator application and click on “Add account”.

Step 2: Click on “Work or school account”.

Step 3: Click “Sign in”.

Step 4: Enter your triOS email address and click “Next”.

Step 5: Enter the password for your triOS email account and click “Sign in”.

Step 6: Click “Open browser”.

Note: You will require to sign-in again on the web browser with the triOS email ID and password.

Step 7: Enter your triOS email address and click “Next”.

Step 8: Enter the password for your triOS email account and click "Sign in”.

Step 9: Click “Next”.

Step 10: Click “Next”.

Step 11: Click “Pair your account to the app by clicking this link”.

Step 12: Click “Open” on the Pop-up.

Step 13: Switch back to web browser.

Step 14: Click “Next”.

Step 15: Make a note of the 2-digit code displayed on the screen

  • Click on Approve sign-in notification

Step 16: Enter that 2-digit code from previous step and click “Yes”. After approving, go back to the browser.

Step 17: Click “Next”.

NOTE: You may require adding the second method of authentication, if it does not prompt then move directly to the step no. 21.

Step 18: Select the country code, enter the phone number and click “Next”.

Step 19: Enter the code sent to your mobile number and click “Next”.

Step 20: Click “Next”.

Step 21: Click “Done”.

Setup complete
