Requires Preflight Setup before this can be complete

  1. Create two folder on the desktop one call PDF needing Archive and the other call PDF-A

  1. Open a PDF and under the tool bar select more options.

  1. Now Select Use Guided Action

  1. Select Action followed by New Action

  1. Select Preflight under the Document Processing tab and the add + button. Under file to be processed select the folder Icon above default option. Select the PDF needing Archive folder.

  1. Under Preflight uncheck prompt user. Select Specify, in that window select Essentials and in the check box next to the option select covert to PFA\A-2b. Under On Success select copy PDF file to success folder. Click Success folder and select PDF-A folder and save.

  1. Under save and export select save and plus the add button, click on the save word and select don’t save changes and select save.

  1. Name the action Bulk PDF-A and select save

  1. Under Action list select Bulk PDF-A and select start. Once complete the files will be save to the PDF-A folder and if there is document with the same name a new file will be created with increasing numbers at the end.
